TECHNOLOGY

Variety of methods, based on satellite imagery, is being used for hydrocarbon and mineral exploration, analysis of vegetation, soil, transport infrastructure and urban development.

The Earth observation community is in a decade of data overload. Our planet is surrounded by hundreds of satellites which generate enormous amount of information every day.

However, accuracy of currently used techniques is almost never close to 100%. This is largely due to the complexity of the Earth's surface objects, uniqueness of their shapes and structures and constant variability of their parameters captured in space imagery.

Therefore, despite significant success achieved in exploration technology, almost inexhaustible information resource of satellite imagery is still not fully adopted in the industry.

MAGNOLIA RSLAB

Magnolia Terra is keen to make contribution to the development of space industry, remote sensing techniques, and exploration of our planet.

That's why we implemented Magnolia rsLab – our own software platform for remote sensing data analysis, we are constantly developing to improve its performance and the quality of the output products.

Carefully crafted fast GPU algorithms enable multi- and hyper-spectral processing of big data in a timely manner
Magnolia rsWork Workflow Modeller, a scalable and powerful tool to model a research process of any complexity

S3A

Magnolia Terra introduces S3A, its own high performance platform for Sub-Surface Structure Analysis of remote sensing data, which makes us a unique partner in geoexploration and mining.

S3A involves capturing of certain geometric patterns (circular structures) in the satellite imagery that subsurface formations exert on the terrestrial surface, affected by the Earth's seismoacoustic waves.

S3A allows us not only to follow the trail of these anomalies on satellite multispectral images, but also to give specific geometric and physical interpretation as to the actual depth of a deposit.

This phenomenon was classified as a scientific discovery and registered as "Minor circular structures of friable deposits of the Earth's crust" (Fivensky Yu.I., 2002, N02-d/02).

The technology is particularly applicable for various mineral resources exploration such as lithium deposits, gold, hydrocarbons, and others, as well as morphological mapping, regional geological surveys, geologic hazards mapping.
